On Thursday, September 29, a special ceremony was held at Tehran’s Azadi Sport Complex to mark the National Day of Firefighters. President Ebrahim Raisi and Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani attended the ceremony.

The history of firefighting in Iran goes back to 1842 when the first fire station was established in the city of Tabriz.
